I think that Jack would get more subscribers and do more good if he were to have more free articles. More people would subscribe if they knew about him. After all, the goal is to get the ideas out where they can do some good - TTP is not just for our personal entertainment.

I'm sure Jack could get a lively discussion going if he sought suggestions for change, as could most any site.

On one hand, quite possibly. If Jack were to roll out a more "open" approach aimed at the mainstream, more of the necessary information we enjoy might get out to the public.

On the other hand, journalism used to be seen as a high calling 40 years ago. Is it today? No! Journalism is now viewed as being just above a lawyer, but not by much. Justifiably so! It's better, IMHO, to not lump oneself in with those who have already discredited themselves by trying to form public opinion, rather than to inform the public.

BTW, Jack does have free articles. I discovered Jack and TTP news via the interview by Jamie Glasov, editor of Front Page magazine (dot com) when Jack hinted about a nuke buried in Mecca, at the Ka abba, etc.

I have no strong sense, yet, one way or the other, what Dr. Jack Wheeler's ambitions are for this site. I just got here. So when I find myself saying to myself that this or that could be better (usually meaning like some other site I've known), I dismiss that thought, because I don't know if that's where Jack wants to go.

You've no doubt been here longer than I; perhaps you know, perhaps everyone here but I knows, that Jack really is trying to make this site more popular. Is that so?

"If My people, who are called by My Name..." That passage is from 2 Chronicles 7:14. Chronicles is a history of the kings of Judah and the people being called upon in the passage would be the Jews. This event took place about 1000 BC.

Maybe Jack is thinking that if his stuff is really valuable, then it's up to us to "make his site more popular". That's what I'd be thinking.

Hpw many of us forward TTP articles, and tell friends that they really need to subscribe.
