I agree 100% with your analysis, especially regarding the McCain article.

You also give excellent (almost lawyerly ) advice when you tell TTPers to "use common sense" when forwarding articles.

We want this site to grow but not at the expense of what has already been built.

I think there is a sweet spot out there that will fulfill tbs3 and Spartan's desires while preserving the gem which is TTP.

For the record, I was also turned on to TTP from a free article on Worldnetdaily.com.

I emailed the article using the email button at the top of the page, which TTP provides to subscribers for that purpose.

Lets not forget his Senator McPains wifes grudge list and her stealing drugs from a charity foundation that she set up ten + years ago.

I too found TTP through WorldNetDaily which riminds me of the
really pumped up story on smoking gun evidence to take out Hilleries bid for president. It did not seem to make any difference.

I am very exited to see how and if this story unfolds and weather or not it affects Mr.McCains trend.

So now we're stuck between Skylla and Charybdus. How have we arrived at this pass? More importantly, what are we going to do about it?

I know the contents of TTPN are Jack's property, except for those articles by others which were not paid for.
What I am asking for is a clear spelling out of exactly what we have permission to do.

In the case of my computer, when I have used the email forwarding link, it only sent a url to the person. That is not useful unless the person already subscribes. Rush and his people will not be signing up just to get at an article. It wastes their time.

Its my personal opinion that being ... well... kinda stingy with articles is self-defeating both financially and politically. I hope Jack will give it some thought and then give us a clear reading on what can be done with his property.

He is entitled to his opinion and his property, as are we all to ours. Unfortunately, after Tuesday it may be largely moot. Battles do not wait for procedural manuals.
