That's one hell of a bombshell. I knew he was someone to be avoided at all costs. And I hope he is destroyed for the remainder of his career. Yes, war is hell, and I'm not really worthy of judging someone's actions in a war. But he's carried the penchant for selling out his "comrads" back with him, and continued it for 40 years.

He'd make a good condo association president down in Arizona, but that's about it. And I hope to god that's his job in '09.

Thanks, Dr. Wheeler. No doubt all true, but; still a tough sell to the public. Bill Clinton sold American defense secrets to the Chicoms for campaign money plus other treasonous acts. This made none the difference and he was elected twice. Tragically, Americans have lost all sense of "countyman". Most vote now for their own or their groups particular interests. The interests of the country as a whole are disregarded in the election process.

It is likely Hillary can still win without destroying John McCain. No doubt, if necessary she will resort to any and all means for her own political gain.

I say, find the leaker in the CIA and leak it NOW. Let's get it on the table so we can go on to mediocre from worst.

McCain could be stopped now if there were someone with access and the will to release the info. That's assuming the info is completely accurate. And you'd still be going out on a limb. Would anyone in the Republican party have the nerve to "swift-boat" his own guy? A whole string of "ifs" here.

Better hope and pray for a brokered convention.

I should add: unless McCrazy can be taken out by this info right now. If he can be stopped, let someone do it. They'll be doing us all a favor.

I have always maintained that "Juan McCain" is the REAL LIFE "Manchurian Candidate"...this is just further factual evidence to back up this assertion.

It truly "Blows" that 'Screw-The Damn-Pooch-Guliani" booted the GOP front runner position sooooo badly.

In fact, if THAT was the way he campaigned...it would have been HOW he governed...and we are fortunate to be rid of him!

Romney is a good businessman, but he is tragically 'Geo Strategically/Geo Politically' clueless, but at least he is not a traitor...

For the last year and a half or so, I have held on to a memory that I read on this site that there was some "soon to be released news" that would destroy McCain. I've been waiting to find out what that news is. Is this the news?

I too have long thought of McCain as the "Manchurian Candidate".

We are in deep do-do. We have the Communist vs. the Moslem on the Democrat side, and a nut job on the Republican.

OK, Dr. Wheeler, I don't doubt your sincerity. But do be careful about being mislead by faulty intel. The allegations you document could be just the sort of thing that some power behind the scenes (and honestly God knows from what hive) could be using to manipulate the process big time. Maybe the best thing would be for John McCain and his campaign to confront these accusations head on and quicktime (in fact, why don't you and your well connected colleagues just put the question to the McCain camp out front!). And if old cranky John can clear himself, I hope you'll be the first to say sorry, in the fashion of a true gentleman. If he can't, the GOP has a nightmare on it's hands.
