TTP AND HISTORY 5 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 3
This thread discusses the Content article: TTP AND HISTORY

I look forward to all the new ideas you pound out down in your sunny paradise as it looks to be brutal up here in the north again
this weekend.

I would welcome a spell-check option for the board if possible.

Here's an idea I've already mentioned a couple of times. Enterprise grade, robust, development mature, secure (actually the secure'est), and most feature packed forum software. http://www.vbulletin.com/features.php

And it integrates with the main script (Joomla) easily with this connector: http://forum.bbpixel.com/

I don't know how it is done, some computer geek thing I am sure, but when you click on a link and then later, hit the back button, you end up at the top of the page you left, and you then have to scroll down to where you were, rather than where in the text you left. It's a small thing, but it would be nice.

LOOK!!!

I sent u guys a message a year or so ago: When people reply to articles don't make us click on each reply to read them. Just post them one after the other so I and other readers can just scroll throught the replies. You didn't change this, for whatever reason, so I probably read only 2-5% of all replies instead of 90-100% of all replies on all articles! And I've pretty much stopped posting on TIP, depriving all and sundry of my genius, experience, wit, knowledge and perspicasity!

Phoey!

At some point I would like to get to a to the point rendezvous but things have not permitted such as of yet.

As I look at the list of sidebar categories I recognize the one “Beyond the Pale” and your affinity for Ireland. That being the case I would propose that you consider another and more inclusive one such as “How the Scots invented everything – even the Irish”

How about a FAQ about various logical fallacies an how to detect them?

Yes, I am not computer savvy and I find there seems to be a few bugs in the functions through this website-could be just me. I did start a thread in the general forum asking if there was some place on this site (which I haven't found) that explains the use of site functions. I haven't recieved a reply.

Jack,
Could you add a forum on the US and world economy and in particular the US stock market? In one of your articles this week you mention the impending economic crises looming on the horizon. Please comment further.
Thx.
