With all "due" respect, the label 'America's premier group of conservative leaders' sounds a little funny these days. If leadership is a strict criteria for entrance you may be talking to an empty room.

Let us take this further. People are envious because they covet. Covetousness arises from greed. Greed arises from selfishness. Selfishness is disinterest in others. Selfishness cannot separate itself from arrogance and megalomania.

Liberal leaders are all the same, they really do not care for those they claim, they arrogantly serve their own interests, and it is the fool who cannot recognize this.

Who/Where are the Conservative LEADERS of the Republican Party?

I know one in Jack Wheeler and I'm willing to bet you have many hundreds who are members of TTP. We're just not fat head politicians or career bureaucrats.

The party is out-of-step with its base and its "leadership" shares that Liberal envy problem. Just look ar our nominee.

It's quite simple- They reject God, replace God. progressivism, communism, socialism, Nazism, etc all things to worship man the state or anything that is not worshiping God. The reason is so they don't hafta look at their own sins and this results in low self esteem so many structures r set up to 'prop' it up. But it doesn't really. pretty simple eh? All the other 'issues' just originally start from that.

Just as World War One destroyed Britain and France's confidence in their countries and led to appeasement of the Nazis, so did the Vietnam War weaken America's confidence and has led to appeasement of the Iran, NORKs, etc., etc..

It is an assault on the Sovereignty of God. Is it any wonder why they worship "gaia" instead of the one true God that offers Salvation.
There is no salvation from man. Communism, Fascism, Islam, Nazism, and modern day liberalism are monuments to the failures trying to disprove that axiom.
It is one reason why modern day liberalism is bereft of ideas that work. It is morally and intellectually bankrupt.

Good article but I think it misses part of the reason for Hollywood's infatuation with far left causes. Many of those in Hollywood, especially those who appear on camera, are just fundamentally stupid. If you look at how many of them didn't finish high school or just have a HS diploma you'll get an indication of how true this is. Without an education and much of an intellect they become easy targets for the pushers of anti-americanism, anti-capitalism, global warmism, environmentalism, and a host of other leftisms. I'm also not sure how many of them realize how disproportionate what they get is for what they do. I suspect most of them would tell you their talents are under appreciated.

You know, Dr Jack, it is ironic and weird that today's batch of Dems is paralyzed by the fear of being envied yet has no problem preaching class envy when running for office.
