Jack,
While I currently can't afford any of your international expeditions, I would love to do a US based Rendevous, anywhere! You name the exact date and place and I'll be there.
I'm currently working on running a race, 5K or longer in every state before I'm 30. I have an 11 state head start and will be revisiting 33 more states as well as the 6 I've never before visited. I'm also considering trying to also run a race on each continent during the same timeframe, but we'll see.
As far as internationally goes, I'm scheduled for Switzerland and Romania in Nov., both first times for me. Having grown up in Asia, as we've previously discussed, I too love to travel and in that regard, Jack, your my hero!
Finally for anyone using this site, since I work for an airline, if you have any questions about earning or using frequent flyer miles to hook up with Jack, let me know and I'll gladly help in any way I can.
Blessings,
Andy

Dr Jack
Well, you have certainly whetted our appetite!. With two kids in college and one in high school (and the oldest out of the nest and already in a 401K) the internrationl stuff is likely out.
But, as one posted said "Viva, Las Vegas!' and there's plenty more in that region beyond what you mentioned. I, for one, enjoy a good stiff drink but am not much for gambling in any form as I work too hard for my money and well understand the law of probablities.
But, I'd overlook that to enjoy a Martini and perhaps a cigar with you, Dr Jack.
In my case it's either Las Vegas or doing that in the Sahara. LV makes better sense for now.
BTW, DJ, my wife and I had 4 kids and as you know, children are expensive. But it is
not commonly acknowledged that your own children are the best investment you could possibly make.
Thank-you for your summer saga and journals. It is why I am a charter member.
I can't find material like yours anywhere else on the Net in such a distilled form.

Mark, Andy, others,
The Vegas rendezvous sound great. See you there. And maybe one of those international adventures in 08.

Jack,
As you put the Las Vegas Rendezvous together, will you please include a provision for us Sin City locals who don't need a hotel room, but would like to participate in the fun and festivities?
Thanks,
John

Jack,
Where can we get prices for this event. I would love to go if not in 07 than for sure in 08.
