This thread discusses the Content article: MOSES IN MECCA

It really is amazing how Islam can claim Jerusalem and the Holy Mount as their own. The idea that Moses might be buried in Mecca is interesting and provocative. Let us advance this question globally.
Jack what is the honest historical lineage of the ancient Philistines? Is it possible that the thorn in the side of the tribe of Judea, aside from pharoh's of Egypt is the lineage of Philistines, possibly being modern day Palestinians?
Have you ever read archeological reports of the Arc of the Covenant possibly being buried beneath the "Temple Mount"?

The devil is in the details for the "Palestinian" cause. A second front to wage anti-Jihadism is with the liberal enclaves in the US who have taken up for these pikers. I live in Berkeley, California where jihadi chic runs rife. The old lefty (suicidal) premise of "The enemy of my enemy (GWBUSH) is my friend" clouds all capacity for rational thought. The elements from this article will cause their blood pressure to skyrocket. Thank-you, Dr. Wheeler.

According to Daniel, Revalation, Matthew and other books of the Bible, the Jews will be sacrificing in their temple in the last days when the Anti-Christ enters the temple and commits the Abomination of Desolation and claim that the sacrifice is no longer required because he will claim to be God.

All that being said, what interests me is how this transition would take place. Is it a shared occupancy - Jew and M? Will the Jews by force reclaim what is obviously and historically theirs?

I think the Temple Mount holds a significant place in future events. Maybe the most significant.

Thanks for the article Jack I can think of another site for which Christians could make a claim. After the Apostle Paul's vision on the road to Damascus, he disappeared for a considerable time since both the Sanhedrin and the Christian communities were after him. I was told that he spent seven years in what is present day Saudi Arabia near the place that in all probability was the true location for Mount Sinai where Moses received the Ten Commandments and the Children of Isreal trod underfoot for 40 years. Paul spent most of his time in a cave near this Mount Sinai. There is an area that has been fenced in by the Saudi government where there is a split rock and drawings of bulls on the large stones. I think that Christians should demand access to the fenced in area and the surrounding mountain tops as being sacred places since the Apostle Paul dwelt there during his formative period as a believer in Jesus as the Christ. Cheers, Jim

OK, Jim, here's your assignment. Identify this place in Saudi on a map and by name, and research the details backing up the story. Ideally there are some digital photos of the place. Then we can start messing with Moslem minds about it. Thanks....

Jews in Kheibar in the 12th centu;ry? I thought all infidels were expelled when Mohammed died as according to the hadiths. Can someone clarify this point?

Do you mean there is a question about Mt. Sinai being on the Sinai Peninsula? That is where the Jews wandered for 40 years after leaving Egypt. It's awfully far from Saudi Arabia; I don't see how they would have gotten there for Moses to receive the Ten Commandments. Or am I mistaking your meaning?

I saw a program on I think the History Channel done by one of the scientists at the Carolinska Institute. They brought a ship from Sweden and sent down robotic deep diving platforms capable of taking pictures. The scenes showed the remains of what looked like chariots on the bottom of the Red Sea opposite a place called Newaiba on the western shore. There is a land bridge climing to within 30 feet of the surface there that runs right across the Red Sea between the Sinai Peninsula and Saudi Arabia.

I looked at some maps online of the land called Midian. It is in present day Saudi Arabia. I think there is the possibility that the Mountain of Laws spoken of in the Book of Exodus called Sinai is in present day Saudi Arabia It is a possibility that can be boldly asserted and plausibly maintained. That is all I am saying.

Merry Christmas to you and yours,
Jim

Jack, I'll get back to you. If I can get pictures and a map can I post them here using the attachment button at the bottom? What is the size limitation if any? Jim

Hello Jack,

I have found three sources of information on this topic. I didn't pass judgment on any of them. I will leave that to you and TTP members.

There is a book wriiten by Lennart Moller (with two dots over the o in Moller). The title is The Exodus Case subtitled New Discoveries Confirm the Historical Exodus. It is copyrighted by Scandinavia Publishing House, Drejervej 11-21, DK 2400 Copenhagen NV, Denmark. Tel.: (45) 35310330 Fax: (45) 35310334 E-Mail: This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it and various translations and other information is available at www.leocordia.com/exodus.

The next source I found is the Wyatt Museum Webpage: http://www.wyattmuseum.com/red-sea-crossing-02.htm
A map is available on this link.

The third souce is http://www.michaelrood.com/. His name is Michael John Rood and he has made available a DVD "The Sinai Connection" (it is near the bottom of the page) at http://www.michaelrood.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=NMMJR&Category_Code=VT

I found negative information on the latter two sources but decided not to pass judgment on them since my mission was to gather information and get it back to you. There is a fourth source, the program I saw on the History Channel but I didn't see it available there for sale.

Merry Christmas to you and your Family. God bless you with a better 2007 than you had in 2006.
Jim Hayman
