Ditto on the congrats. The pride and excitement on your faces is so infectious, the picture taker was probably beaming too. And Mrs Wheeler looks positively radiant. We love hearing about your family successes, so please do keep us TTPers updated on special personal events like these.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,
RP

My warmest good wishes go to Lt. Wheeler, with my thanks for his service. Our family has followed you, Dr. Wheeler, for many years and we value your wisdom, wit, experience and intellect. We are a career military family, with our third and fourth generation proudly serving on active duty. Please allow me to welcome you and your family to this brotherhood.

Welcome to the family Dr Lack. As the proud father of two soldiers and one marine/air guardsman (he left the Corps for family reasons but still has to serve his country while it's at war so he joined the guard) I can rememer their graduations. Nothing can make a father prouder. It is our responsibility as military family members to the work on the home front to keep this nation focused on the WOT. As a Marine Capt. once said, "If you support the troops but not the mission, you really aren't doing us much good". I look forward to continuing our work with the 910 group and would like to invite you to join the Military Families Voice of Victory at mfvov.com.
To Lt. Brandon Wheeler, USMC, Thank you for your service, Semper Fi, you will always be in our prayers.

I am so happy to hear of Brandon's success at OCS--I went to high school with Brandon and he has always shown determination in reaching his goals. His fierce patriotism and love of country is something we share, and his dedication to this country has reassured me at times when the unserious attitudes of some have caused me to be discouraged.
Dr. Jack, you are certainly right to remark about the unserious approach that many take to the situations that face us as a nation today--taking an honest, "grown-up" look at the world today means facing problems that don't come with easy anwers and difficult situations that require sacrifice. The discomfort associated with this leads most people to choose denial over responsibility.
