Thank you Dr. Jack for giving back to me a more accurate perspective of the Bush presidency. I tend to focus on what he hasn't done and get angered when I here he is in "coast mode" with seven months to go in his second term. But for all his disappointments, I have never hated the man, nor can I understand how anyone could. I realize this has been the goal of the MSM since Bush was first elected. They have convinced millions of Americans that everything Bush has done is wrong, or he did things for the wrong reasons. Facts are facts: the tax cuts worked, bailing out the airlines after 911 helped avoid a recession, Saddam and bin Laden are gone, the Middle East is far better off than it was before US intervention. But all you here on the news is that we are in a recession, global warming is getting worse, Republicans want to destroy the environment over oil, Katrina was Bushes disaster, John McCain will be a third term Bush failure...Can people be so ignorant of the facts, believing every lie coming across the airwaves? It would bogle the mind, if anyone had one.
If only we had Peshmerga in this country to escort Liberals off our shores.
