I have an Olympus SP-550 with 18x zoom digital camera. Nothing complicated.

I have made this suggestion before to Miko and I'll make it to you.

Have you considered providing a weblink for the evening speakers and ensuing Q&A's so that people who can't make the trip can still dial in via the web to see and hear what is being said.

We can even have them IM questions so they can participate in the Q&A.

It should be very simple to do and would cost next to nothing (except for your digital video cam, tripod and a laptop) and you could raise some additional capital from the TTP base who want to pay $25 (or whatever fee you decide) to be a part of the web cast.

You could use Instant Messenger as the vehicle for sending and receiving video and text information or one of the many other mediums available.

I'm sure Marco the Wizard could rig something up.

Hopefully, you'll consider it because it would give TTPers who can't make the events a chance to be a part of the action and it could also pay off from a business perspective.

Just a thought....

BTW, my consulting fee is 10% of the profits from the web cast.

There really are some of us out here in 'flyover land' who can't afford to take off the time in the midst of our selling season (Yes, I'm a REALTOR.) to join you in Boston, although we would love to do so. I could however, join you via internet, especially after dark (Don't show houses after dark.) A modest fee would not be an unreasonable request for this service. Would love to sit in on your evening talks and even ask questions and make prescient (I hope.) comments. Voice would be great, but voice and video would be the berries. Try to keep it under 30 or 40 bucks, if you can.

Thanks for this forum; can't talk politics with anyone in my household without pissing them off, because I'm not remotely politically correct, nor do I care to be a wussified p***y. They may not like where I stand on various issues, but they damn sure know where it is.

It all depends on my job...it's a bit intense these days if it slacks off I may be able to come.

I was planning to come and had already made some arrangements, (I'm soooo sorry Mary Ellen), but then Ed got laid off TODAY. So - please, please, please listen to Chris and make it possible for us to "be there" at least for the meetings. I hate to whine, but, WAH!! I was really looking forward to the historical tours with Jack <sniff> and being with all my favorite people again! I still hope you have a wonderful time and that the weather is perfect this time (instead of waiting for the last few hours to perk up!)
