IT’S PARTY TIME: THE TO THE POINT VEGAS RENDEZVOUS |

When the going gets tough, as it got excruciatingly so on
November 7th, the tough have a party.
You may recall that's a line from a famous movie. But it won't be a Toga Party as John Belushi
had in Animal House (the smooth seduction character of "Otter" in the
movie, by the way, was based on my Sigma Nu fraternity brother at UCLA, Steve
Deming).
It will be what the Mountain Men of the Old West called
their gatherings: a Rendezvous. And what better place to have it in than Las
Vegas?
Here's how it's going to work. The dates are: Friday ,January 26th through Monday, January 29th. The cost
is: your personal expenses only. This is Dutch Treat. Everyone pays their own way - me too. No conference fees.
Everyone gets their own hotel room - there's a million to
choose from in Vegas with a very wide price range. I will organize a number of daytime activities - outdoor stuff
like rappelling down slot canyons in Zion National Park, and hiking in the
Valley of Fire or Red Rock Canyon.
Folks can come or stay indoors and play the tables - but I'll be
outside.
At the end of the day, we'll gather for drinks, dinner, and
conversation. Folks can catch whatever
shows they want. I'll be around for as
long as anyone wants to talk with me about whatever they want to talk about.
And so will Dr. Joel Wade and other TTP contributors.
We're going to have a great time together. I am really looking forward to meeting as
many of you who can come. We'll plot,
conspire, and solve all of America's and the world's problems. (Well, maybe not all of them, but we
can try...)
But best of all, we can get to know each other. That's what I'm most looking forward
to. So I hope you can join us for the
TTP Vegas Rendezvous!
