There are streets, schools and parks across the country named after a violent racist who urged the KKK to murder civil rights activists and claimed that racial integration was a Jewish conspiracy.
There’s a boulevard in Brooklyn named after a racist who admired Hitler and boasted of being the first fascist. Harvard has a prominent institute named after a bigot who defended Nazi bigotry.
New York City, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles all have streets named after a supremacist and nationalist who palled around with Nazis. New York City has a statue of him. Washington D.C. has an art tribute to him. If we are going to take down Confederate memorials, there’s no way he can stay up.
He must fall.
In 1961, Malcolm X introduced George Lincoln Rockwell, the leader of the American Nazi Party, on stage at a Nation of Islam rally. After Rockwell made a donation to the racist black nationalist hate group, Malcom X led a round of applause for the Neo-Nazi leader and called him, “Mr. Rockwell.”
There’s been a recent effort in Bethesda to rename Winston Churchill High School after Malcolm X. How can you rename a school honoring the leader who defeated Nazism after Malcolm, a Nazi collaborator?
Read more...Yes, it’s serious. Damn serious. Not just because a hostile country ruled by an unstable dictator either has, or is on the verge of having, ICBMs and nuclear warheads.
But also because North Korea is just one of many tyrannies preparing to do mean things to the United States. And our friends.
Mr. Kim is backing away from the threat to bomb Guam, which gives us a breather to ask some basic questions and craft a winning strategy. Alas, we have neither reliable answers to the basic questions, nor anything approaching a winning strategy.
One problem is that we’re not dealing with a rogue state in isolation – it’s an entire global network of rogue states from Iran to Russia to China. There’s only one solution. We have to engineer regime change in Pyongyang.

[It is quite gratifying that TTP’s “Solar Warming” published ten years ago continues to be proven correct –JW]
Most global warming is natural and even if there had been no Industrial Revolution current global temperatures would be almost exactly the same as they are now, a study has found.
The paper, by Australian scientists John Abbot and Jennifer Marohasy, published in GeoResJ uses the latest big data technique to analyze six 2,000 year-long proxy temperature series from different geographic regions.
“Proxies” are the markers scientists use – tree rings, sediments, pollen, etc – to try assess global temperature trends in the days before the existence of thermometers.
All the evidence suggests that the planet was about a degree warmer during the Medieval Warming Period than it is now; and that there is nothing unnatural or unprecedented about late 20th century and early 21st century “climate change”.

In its latest country focus, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) upgraded the growth outlook for Asia’s largest economy to an average of 6.4 percent a year through to 2021, compared to 6 percent previously.
Could this be Pollyannic? Because the IMF said the faster pace of growth would come at the cost of increased debt.
China’s total non-financial sector debt, including corporate, government and household debt, is expected to reach almost 300 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) by 2022, up from 242 percent in 2016, as Beijing strives to achieve its goal of doubling 2010 real GDP by 2020.
That’s according to the IMF – and it could be far worse than that. Analysts such as Charlene Chu are saying that
the real bad debt figure in China is up to $6.8 trillion more than official estimates. And everyone knows not to trust China’s official estimates.

Britain has an opportunity to seize on the latest breakthroughs in gene (or DNA) editing and pioneer new approaches in agriculture, research and medicine.
We Brits are well placed to be bold but responsible gene editors. Bolder than continental countries, looking over their shoulder to the disapproving Roman Catholic church; more responsible than China, where decisions on such matters are taken by officials with little consultation with the public; and without the divisive culture battles over moral and legal issues that so often divide the United States on matters of biology.
Twenty years ago, America was relaxed about genetic modification, whereas Britain was easily panicked by the green movement into nonsensical fears of “Frankenstein foods”. Today, it is the other way around.
Hotted up by green campaigners who are aware of “climate fatigue” among their donors, Americans are increasingly torn over GMOs, despite decades of safe and environmentally beneficial experience of growing of them. Here In Britain, we’re past that,
Read more...Is more inflation desirable? Those at the Federal Reserve seem to think so, and they have explicitly said their target is 2 percent, or about double the current level.
Why would they argue for a further erosion of the purchasing power of the dollar? It is on the misguided belief (i.e., the long-discredited Phillips Curve) that moderately higher levels of inflation lead to higher levels of employment.
The unemployment rate numbers indicate that the United States is now at what was traditionally considered full employment — yet the number of people working as a percentage of the work force is close to a three-decade low.
Employers have not had to raise most wages, particularly for the unskilled, because there is such a large pool of unemployed or underemployed people ready to enter the work force when they see the right opportunity.
What you see in the chart above is the dead end the Fed has reached. Here’s why.

Have you ever had a time when you hated being right about something? You predicted something truly awful was going to happen, and sure enough it did? How did that make you feel? Happy that you were correct, or miserable as you wish you had been wrong?
For me, it’s the latter. For years I have been explaining how and why the Left – which has taken over the Democrat Party, the Fake News Alt-Left Media, Academia and much more – is Hate America Fascist fomenting the worst racial problem our country has: anti-white racism.
Recently, I began warning that the Left was becoming overtly Nazi, its anti-white racism metastasizing into Nazi genocidally murderous hate with Whites as the new Jews. Please consider re-reading The Nazi Left and the Source of Trump Hatred (June 9).
This has been the week when all that came nightmarishly true. And it is all horribly worse than I ever imagined. There is, though, hope and silver linings.
You won’t believe what POTUS’ tweet on Black Jack Pershing implies. It’ll set your mind on fire. There’s lots more. Here we go…

Once upon a time in days of long ago when kids in school were actually educated, they all knew the story of Horatio at the Bridge.
Winston Churchill committed all 600 lines of Macaulay’s famous poem about it to memory as a young boy, a story of epic heroism that inspired him all his life.
Horatio, or Publius Horatius, was a soldier in the fledgling Roman Army in 508 BC when the small weak city-state rebelled against rule by the Etruscans. His nickname was “Cocles,” meaning one-eyed as he had lost an eye in a previous battle. A huge Etruscan army attacked, slaughtering the Roman army, the remnants of which fled across the narrow Pons Sublicius bridge over the Tiber River and through the gates to the city.
As the Etruscans stormed over the bridge to sack and destroy Rome, one man stood in their way and defied them. Horatio yelled back at his fellow Romans to cut down the bridge behind him while he fought and killed the Etruscans before him.
Do you hear America’s Horatio calling out to you? Read more...Then out spake brave Horatius, The Captain of the gate: “To every man upon this earth Death cometh soon or late. And how can man die better Than facing fearful odds For the ashes of his fathers And the temples of his gods,
“Hew down the bridge, Sir Consul, With all the speed ye may; I, with two more to help me, Will hold the foe in play. In yon strait path a thousand May well be stopped by three: Now who will stand on either hand, And keep the bridge with me?”
Maybe it is as it all seems. A “white Nazi” named James Alex Fields Jr. plows his car with murderous intent into peaceful black protestors, killing one and injuring a score of others, and the demonization of whites becomes fully justified in America.
A perfect moment for the Hate Trump Dems and the Left. But maybe too perfect. Taylor Lorenz is a well-known journalist now with The Hill newspaper in DC (the “hill” is Capitol Hill, it’s certainly not right-wing). She was right there when Fields crashed his car. She then went to the police station where Fields was being held. She tweeted:
The incredible violence of baseball bat wielding Antifas is ignored by the Lying Swine. This incident is being lied about in order to demonize all whites and President Trump. It is a true Reichstag moment.
Yesterday (8/15) in Manhattan’s Trump Tower, President Trump eviscerated the howling mob of Fake Newsers. They may never recover, they’re so traumatized, poor abused snowflakes. Relax and enjoy the performance.

The ridiculous campaign by virtually every media outlet, every Democrat and far too many squishy Republicans to label Trump some kind of racist and Nazi sympathizer is beginning to have the stink of an orchestrated smear.
The conflagration in Charlottesville is beginning to feel like a set-up, perhaps weeks or months in the planning. Planned by whom? Time may tell.
We know that Michael Signer, the mayor of Charlottesville, declared his city to be the "capital of the resistance" just after Trump's inauguration. We know that Gov. Terry McAuliffe is a corruptocrat, joined at the hip to the Clintons. He pardoned sixty-thousand felons in order to ensure his re-election as governor.
We know that the "founder" of Unite The Right, Jason Kessler, was an activist with Occupy Wall Street and Obama supporter.
What if Signer and McAuliffe, in conjunction with Antifa and other Soros-funded groups like Black Lives Matter, planned and orchestrated what happened in Charlottesville and meant for events to unfold roughly as they did? What if Kessler was their agent provocateur, a phony who revels in riling up some crazy people for some political purpose?
Read more...On July 7, 2016 in Dallas, a Black Nationalist named Micah Xavier Johnson shot and killed 5 police officers at a Black Lives Matter anti-police rally. He said he wanted “to kill white people, especially white officers.”
Instead of condemning BLM, Barack Obama defended the racist hate group. The result is today the Left-led Democrats have killed civil rights and replaced it with Black Nationalism. The racial supremacism of Black Nationalism that killed those officers is everywhere.
If Democrats really want to stop the rise of Neo-Nazi violence, there’s a very easy way. Stop normalizing Black Nationalism and the Alt-Left. End the racist witch hunts for white privilege. Make it clear that street violence is unacceptable and that racism is bad no matter who it comes from. Allow people you disagree with to express their views without trying to destroy their lives.
But that’s the opposite of what the Dems will do. They don’t want fewer Neo-Nazis; they want more of them. They don’t want fewer attacks like Charlottesville and Charleston. They want more of them.

If a political candidate asks you for a donation with a promise that he or she will do some specific act if elected and then fails to do so, should you be able to sue for fraud?
That’s just what a Republican donor in Virginia has done, filing on August 3 a lawsuit in US District Court accusing the Republican Party of racketeering in raising millions of dollars based on the fraudulent promise of repealing Obamacare.
If a contractor offers to build a new deck on your home within a specific time period and then fails to do, so you can sue for nonperformance. Excuses that his competitors were not co-operating, or that all of his workers did not show up, or he wanted to take a vacation, would probably not persuade the judge.
It is well understood that many salespeople and political candidates engage in puffery about what their product does or what they are going to do. But when does puffery go so far as to become fraud? Let’s see how.
