There have been several great columns on the debate over mask-wearing in public.  Scott McKay at American Spectator explains why the mask is essentially useless:  The mask is not an adequate defense against the COVID-19 virus, gang.

The virus checks in at somewhere between 0.06 and 0.14 microns, meaning it’s too small for any commercially available mask to effectively filter it out. The pores on an N95 mask, which are the best masks you’re reasonably going to find, are 0.3 microns.

The vast, vast majority of you are not going to have N95 masks but rather cloth masks, which perform far less well.

Over at Powerline, John Hinderaker  writes about how “wearing face masks has become a cultural divide….On the left, mask wearing has become a basic marker of good citizenship, no matter how silly it may be…”

Even Trump-supporters have wondered about Trump's tweets implying that MSNBC's Joe Scarborough had something to do with a young intern's death in his office when he was still a Florida congressman.

It's true that Scarborough and his co-host and wife Mika Brzezinksi have spent three years accusing Trump of treasonous collusion with the Russians, but Trump's venom still seemed strange.

I, however, don't think it was strange at all.  Trump is one of the most calculating, rational people ever to occupy the White House.

So Trump set a trap.  On Tuesday (5/26), the Twitter mouse took the bait.

Each day that the Obama administration fades into the past, its wrongdoings manage to wander back into the present.

After years of suppression, all sorts of strange events keep popping up to remind us of what little is left of the Obama. The list is so overwhelming and bizarre that it ensures that anything at any time can now appear.

And the result keeps reminding Americans of how corrupt were the years between 2009 and 2017 and how untruthful was the coverage of such institutionalized wrongdoing. Let us recount all the detritus of the failed Obama Presidency.

Last Friday morning (5/15), some 3,500 New Yorkers lined up at a Catholic church in Queens to receive free food hours before it even opened, ­according to the New York Police Department. Catholic Charities has reported a 200 percent increase in demand over the past month and a half.

By prolonging the coronavirus shutdown long after its core mission was accomplished, Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio have plunged tens of thousands of New Yorkers into poverty.

It needs to end. Now.

It was the model that shocked the world.

In mid-March, British researchers led by epidemiologist Neil Ferguson issued an alarming study that predicted 2.2 million Americans would die of COVID-19 by August without immediate, draconian measures to halt its spread.

As the virus rampaged across the country, more than 80 percent of Americans would be infected, the experts warned, causing massive shortages of hospital beds and intensive care units. Death and misery would be the new norm for months to come.

Ferguson’s computer model is responsible for the entire lockdown pandemic hysteria ever since.  Now it’s being rightly condemned as “the most devastating software mistake of all time, in terms of economic costs and lives lost.”

One has to wonder, do those on the left, including the media, actually think Joe Biden is a viable candidate for president?

Do they not realize that Nancy Pelosi is as senile as Joe?  Like Joe, she often slurs her words, suffers brain freezes mid-sentence, and spews gibberish.  The President was simply saying yesterday (5/19) what everyone can see, that “Pelosi is a sick woman. She’s got a lot of problems, a lot of mental problems.”

Biden is a lifelong corruptocrat, a known plagiarist, a pathological liar, and a truly mean and evil man.  You can catch a glimpse of just how mean in the film about Clarence Thomas; it was Biden who grilled him mercilessly during the hearings over Anita Hill's phony allegations.

Biden is a racist as well.  Pelosi is a lifelong power-mad lunatic.  They are the twin albatrosses around the neck of the Democrat Party.

In the entire 2016–19 efforts to derail the Trump campaign, transition, and presidency, Hillary Clinton, Christopher Steele, and the FBI, Department of Justice, CIA, and other government bureaus have consistently sought to distort reality.

Some of our best and brightest have destroyed evidence, altered documents, lied, leaked, and pled amnesia when questioned about their reprehensible conduct. At each stage, they were aided and abetted by a compliant media.

The dissimulation over the past four years has fallen into four rough categories. Here are a few examples of each.

It’s been a remarkably dumb week so far even for 2020. One of the highlights was watching the media hacks looking at each other and pretending they have absolutely no idea what Donald Trump is talking about when he repeatedly tweets “#OBAMAGATE.”

Remember, these are the same geniuses who are always wrong yet expect us to pay attention to their special insights into current events. Sheesh. On the upside, it’s becoming clear that we have a good shot at sending Nancy Pelosi back to Scat Francisco.

Should you wear a face mask? Medical authorities have sent confusing messages.

Both the U.S. surgeon general and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention exhorted Americans not to wear masks in January and February, then reversed themselves in April. Mask wearing is now mandatory in many workplaces and public spaces, but how much good does it do?
