“NICE” CANADA ONCE PLANNED TO INVADE AMERICA
Canada is furious about “Lake America.”
President Trump’s executive order renaming Lake Ontario has been received north of the border as one more intolerable act of American arrogance: an insult to Canadian sovereignty, an affront to Canadian dignity, perhaps even proof that the United States has become a threat.
Trump is trolling, of course. But as always, the trolling isn’t random.
Negotiation, like poker, is a contest in emotional control: the player who keeps his head can manipulate the one who loses his. Trump is deliberately provoking Canada because anger clouds judgment, wounded pride invites mistakes, and an emotional opponent is easier to maneuver.
Canada keeps responding with outrage and claims of betrayal. Trump keeps provoking it because the provocation keeps working.

[Today’s Archive was originally in TTP on January 18, 2021, two days before the traitorous installation of a thief as Ersatz President. Now this November we face the theft of the Senate and House unleashing another Hate-America nightmare. Many TTPers told me when this was first written how helpful it was to them. May this be helpful to TTPers now and in the coming days.]

It called for another John Wilkes, “Champion of English Freedom” as his statue on Fetter Street in London declares, to run for President as the Champion of American Freedom. One month later, on June 16, Donald Trump accompanied by Melania, rode the elevator in Trump Tower to the lobby to formally announce his presidential candidacy. Some of his advisors, I later learned, read TTP. I’ve often wondered since if this essay helped make his decision. Regardless, there’s a message here to all of us as the midterms loom.]
Western civilization is often defined by its accomplishments. Democracy, individual rights, religious liberty, and scientific advancement are all commonly associated with the West.

Thirteen years ago, a 29-year-old government contractor named Ed Snowden gave a reporter proof that the U.S. government was secretly collecting the phone records of millions of ordinary Americans.

We’ve been looking at the nutritional components humans need to survive. These are usually listed as Proteins, Fats, and Carbs, but I’ll repeat a more accurate description that I posted two weeks ago (in no order of priority – they are all essential):
