In 2021, Joe Biden was elected after a bitterly fought campaign that deposed the incumbent Donald Trump. Democrats eventually captured, for a time, both the House and Senate, ensuring the most left-wing government in modern American history.

Americans were then set to witness a great experi-ment. For the first time in their lives, a truly radical socialist program would supposedly fundamentally transform the way America dealt with the border, immigration, the economy, race relations, foreign policy, energy, law enforcement, crime, education, and social questions such as religion, gender, abortion, and schooling.

In a sense, we were all to be lab rats of sorts, to be experimented on by the radical left and their various critical theories. Now in the last year of the Biden term, we can see the results of that experiment—and the unfortunate disasters that followed.

But first, how was such a radical move to the left even possible in a center-right America?

Dearborn, Michigan is the Muslim capital of America. When Rep. Rashida Tlaib won her election to the House, she didn’t celebrate America. She celebrated “Palestine,” her true country.

That was subtle compared to her constituents this weekend, who took to the streets screaming “Death to America. Death to Israel.” By allowing the non-assimilation of people whose values are antithetical to the Constitution and our nation, the viper we have nurtured to our bosom will kill us as surely as the asp that killed Cleopatra…and Biden is already sacrificing Israel on its altar.

To appreciate fully what took place in Dearborn, you need to know that Al-Quds is the Muslim word for “Jerusalem,” the ancient Jewish capital that King David founded (circa 1,000 B.C.), and that Mohamed never visited but nevertheless claimed for his own. Al-Quds Day, which Ayatollah Khomenei started in 1979, is the day on which Muslims gather to demand the slaughter of Jews and a Muslim takeover of Jerusalem.

Muslims really, really, genocidally, deeply, in a sadistic torture-them-before-you-kill-them” way, hate the Jews. But they also hate America.

The implications of these datapoints are hard to overstate. This means that China’s demographic crisis is far worse than expected. As a result, all of China’s economic, foreign, and defense policies are based on faulty demographic data.

Often, massive historic events are triggered by a single iconic moment. People who have put up with chronic repression will seize upon a single iconic moment to push back.

What may prove to be a turning point in 2024 is the murder of 31-year-old NYPD officer Jonathan Diller. That’s because his tragic death operates at the intersection of so many Democrat party policies and values, exposing the rot behind all of them.

Sunday, March 31, was Easter in 2024, Resurrection Day, the holiest day on the Christian calendar. Christ died to pay for sin, not to celebrate it. To borrow a favorite word of the Left, He came to heal the marginalized, not to leave them unchanged.

That makes Easter Sunday this year also tragic, as people who ungratefully reject God’s created order celebrated “Transgender Visibility Day.” As if this tiny fraction of the population isn’t already the most “visible” — in your face — segment in the country.
