There could be no better place to celebrate America’s independence than beneath this magnificent, incredible majestic mountain monument to the greatest Americans who have ever lived.

Today we pay tribute to the exceptional lives and extraordinary legacies of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Teddy Roosevelt.

We gather tonight to herald the most important day in the history of nations, July 4th, 1776.

Wokeness might do to the American military what no foreign enemy ever could: Fracture the world’s greatest armed forces from within, through divisive political indoctrination and controls.

Wokeness itself isn’t an ideology, however. It isn’t critical race theory. It’s a behavioral system of dictatorial political and cultural control.

This is the wokeness that General Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, denies he is imposing throughout our armed forces.

It’s shaping up to be a long, hot summer, one filled -- like Yellowstone Park -- with geysers and hot springs ready to blow at any moment. But these are political eruptions, not nature's fury.

If I didn’t know that God has things under control I’d be terrified, but in the interest of keeping track of the truth let’s list the top 10 political eruptions we can expect to blow sometime soon.  We’ll from 10 down to Number 1.  So let’s start with…

Mitt Romney prides himself on being a thorn in President Trump's side, but he is just a gnat buzzing about the Leftmedia that now revere him.  He's become a joke but has yet to realize it.

Romney wins the prize among the pathetic group of RINOS who think they can vanquish Trump by treating him and his supporters like pond scum.  The problem with the Left and the RINOS is that they assume, with no hint of irony, that they are smart and the rest of us are not.

Actually, it is they who are blinkered to the point of blindness. Romney is the saddest of the lot, as he demonstrated on CNN day before yesterday (6/27).

There can be little doubt the United States is now in a contest with China over which will be the most important country in the world.

In important respects, we are replicating the German challenge to England prior to World War I and the renewed German challenge of the 1930s, or the Soviet challenge for 45 years after World War II.

As China grows stronger and bolder, and especially as the United States fumbles its way through periods of great distraction and internal political strife, the Chinese—like Hitler—become more brazen and provoking.  Time is short to do something smart about it.

Russia and China are typically lumped together as the two new challengers to the role of Western countries in Africa. They are certainly that, but they are pursuing rather differing strategies and, thus, are virtually certain to find themselves at odds in the future.

For the present, these two approaches may not be completely at odds; however, in the longer term, they are prone to be, with Russia having to accept a role subordinate to China in Africa or give up its current relationships with African countries.

That is not something President Vladimir Putin is likely to be happy about and may even become an increasing source of conflict between Moscow and Beijing.
