THE OBAMA CAMPAIGN IS UNWORTHY OF A DEMOCRAT PRESIDENT

[Note: this public letter is written by a hard-core life-long Democrat.  Even these guys have had it with Zero.]

As a Democrat and a staunch support of Barack Obama, I am completely disgusted by his campaign. Are we talking about the President of the United States? Are we talking about a principled man who has boosted our ideal for a fair and equitable America? Does this have anything to do with the American people?

1. A harassing campaign

Everybody takes turns to bombard us with e-mails, phone calls to chip in for one reason or the other. Even those of us who asked to only receive selective information.

To that "presidential" harassment one needs to add what the Democrat Party does: strangely enough they only call and e-mail to collect money. Never to tell us what are the important causes for the Party.

AMERICA’S SADDAM

In light of Janet Reno’s concession of defeat in Florida’s gubernatorial primary elections, America needs to remember the horrific evil perpetrated by then-Attorney General Reno in the first months of the Clinton presidency.

It is important to grasp that what happened in Waco was no accident, that the Davidians were killed on purpose in an act of revenge by the American government. And it is important to know just how they were killed, that the method of their killing was as grisly and evil as anything perpetrated by Saddam Hussein.

During the Iran-Iraq war, Saddam Hussein discovered the most lethal chemical warfare agent was a combination of sulfur mustard gas with hydrogen cyanide, which he used in artillery shells to slaughter thousands of Iranians. It was in effect this same combination that Janet Reno had the FBI use to slaughter 87 men, women, and children in Waco.

BREITBART’S RED MURDER

[Note: this is a collaboration between me and Dagny D'Anconia.  I am indebted to her for much of this -- JW]

On February 9, 2012, in Washington DC, Andrew Breitbart told Sinclair News, "Wait ‘til they see what happens on March 1st."

Yet, instead of the release of what he predicted would be "damning" evidence of Obama perfidy, what happened on March 1st was a horribly unexpected tragedy:  Andrew Breitbart suddenly died.  He was 43.  The Coroner of Los Angeles County states he died of natural causes, specifically heart failure.  Did he?

A lot of people don't think so - especially when a coroner who participated in Mr. Breitbart's autopsy, Michael Cormier, died of arsenic poisoning on the very day the Coroner's Report was released (April 20).

Conspiracy theorists had a field day - but it was all suspicion with no specifics.  Until now.  What you are about to read is going to completely blow you away.  Here is how Andrew Breitbart could have been easily murdered, and who could have murdered him.

THE PARANOIA ANTIDOTE

Given all the frantic efforts by so much of the media, and by so many folks with agendas, to freak you out with fear, I think you should look upon To The Point as The Paranoia Antidote.

In addition to this week’s article on how Iran’s nuclear threat may be of benefit to Israel (Shouldn’t the Palestinians Be Terrified of Iran?), let’s take three examples.

The first concerns the liberal paranoia of global warming, or more precisely man-made global warming, as in, it’s all our fault. It’s hilarious, of course, that COP-11, the assemblage of eco-goofballs attending the UN conference on “climate change” are freezing their tushes in Montreal this week in record cold while whining about the earth burning up. They would be enlightened by reading Solar Warming in To The Point in September.

Our second example concerns conservative paranoia over the phony terrorist threat of “EMP.” The “threat” is a cry of nuclear wolf, as originally discussed in The EMP Annoyance last June.

Our third example is the current paranoia over torture – specifically the torture of terrorists to extract information from them regarding planned terrorist acts. All of this can be avoided – all brutalizing torture can be avoided – with the techniques described in three To The Point articles:

D3 Terrorists (July 2005).
How To Get A Terrorist To Sing Like A Canary Without Torture (January 2005).
Interrogating Osama (October 2001).

CAN DEMOCRATS CELEBRATE THANKSGIVING?

The short answer is: No, they can’t – not this year. They can’t emotionally afford it. BDS – Bush Derangement Syndrome – requires them to overcook their turkey, serve it with sugarless cranberries to match their bitterness, and wash it down not with a good chardonnay but with bile.

Their propaganda machine known collectively as the MSM – mainstream media – should be re-nicknamed the BNM: the Bad News Media. The Democrats must refuse to acknowledge and the BNM must refuse to report anything good about America whatsoever.

Failure on their part to do so might cause dangerously blasphemous thoughts to occur to the American public, like we are not losing the War on Moslem Terrorism, we are not losing the War in Iraq, President Bush is an honest and decent man whose moral character infinitely exceeds theirs ( and most especially his Democrat predecessor and opponents in 2000 and 2004), the American economy is doing spectacularly well, the sky is not falling nor the oceans rising due to global warming, that America has so much to celebrate on this Thanksgiving Day.

The Dems and Libs will on this day mouth pious platitudes about our “blessings,” making sure to riddle them with let’s-not-forget buts: “Thank you, O (substitute whatever they put in place of God) for America’s blessings but let’s not forget the victims of Katrina and the homeless and the starving Banglesdeshis and every ailment on the planet because they are all America’s and George Bush’s fault.”

Democrats cannot truly celebrate Thanksgiving because they no longer have the capacity to celebrate being American. This is not hyperbolic. It is a tragic truth.

THE VIRTUAL CD-ROM CONTROL PANEL FOR WINDOWS XP

Last week I used Microsoft’s material to explain that an ISO file is an exact image of a CD-ROM or a DVD.

Why would someone use Virtual instead of using Nero (that we discussed last week) or a similar application to burn the ISO to disk?

Today almost every laptop comes with a CD-DVD burner. But even a year-old laptop may be fitted with only a CD burner. And a two year-old laptop might have a CD-ROM that only reads CDs, but doesn’t write to them.

Add a year or two for a desktop and you may have no choice but to use Virtual.

Without further ado, download Virtual by clicking Virtual CD-ROM Control Panel for Windows XP

COALITION OF EVIL

The Al Qaeda watchers have a new chant: They tell us that the once-centralized terror organization is now largely decentralized, and that the separate cells have a great deal of autonomy. Osama bin Laden may still provide the ideology, but the locals do their own planning and operations.

Thus, the Washington Post found that the expert consensus on the London attacks was that, yes, these people might be linked to al Qaeda in a broad, political/religious/ideological way, but the operation itself, like many in the recent past (Madrid or London, for example), was a local product.

The insistence that “Al Qaeda” — defined as the main enemy — is highly decentralized has a lethal effect on designing an effective antiterrorist policy, for it reinforces the strategic paralysis that currently afflicts this administration.

If we conceive the war against the terrorists as a long series of discrete engagements against separate groups in many countries, we will likely fail, beginning with Iraq.

RUSSIA LOSES ANOTHER ONE

A friend of mine whose name you know but is embarrassed to have his name mentioned and I will never forget standing on a street corner in Kishinev, Moldavia. We stood there looking like fools trying to keep our jaws from dropping open and our necks from snapping back and forth - for everywhere we looked, we saw another stunningly beautiful woman walk by. Between the two of us, we had been to just about every country in Europe, and we agreed: the most beautiful women on the European continent were right here. Kishinev left Paris in the dust.

That was back in 1990, and the place was still part of the Soviet Union. During World War II, Stalin decided to move the USSR-Romania border westward, from the Dniester River to the Prut River, and called the territory he had seized the Soviet Socialist Republic of Moldavia. The smallest of the USSR’s 15 republics (at 13,000 square miles, slightly larger than Maryland), it along with the others declared independence in 1991, changing its name to Moldova and its capital to Chisinau. Except there was this one little problem.

OBAMA’S BACKDOOR GUN CONTROL

I am one who steers very clear of tinfoil hat conspiracy theories. I often believe liberals/progressives plant stories in order to distract and disrupt, enabling them to pursue their true goals and objectives. That's why I stress the importance of staying focused on the modern liberal socialist policies of the Obama administration, not the sideshow antics.

However, as a former combat commander, I have been trained to look for trends. And I believe we've found a very disturbing one. it seems that back door gun control is in full effect in the United States. Why? Thanks to Obama's Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), we can no longer smelt lead from ore in the United States.

What this all means is that after December 2013, any ammunition that will be available to US citizens will have to be imported, which will surely increase the price and possibly come under government control.  Welcome to Obama's backdoor gun control.

HALF-FULL REPORT 05/31/13

Don't you think it's high time to point out the undiluted racism of the Zero Presidency and its supporters?

Racism is, of course, what got Zero nominated and elected to begin with, back in 2008.  No one, certainly no Democrat or Libtard journalist, would have paid any attention whatever to a freshman Senator with exactly his résumé if he were just another white guy.

But let's now ask, do you think that, on Monday (5/27) the leader of the Democrat Party in Louisiana, Karen Carter Peterson, would have denounced opponents of Obamacare as racists - "it's about race; it's about the race of this African-American president" - if she weren't black herself?

Do you think that, yesterday (5/30) on MSNBC, sociology professor Michael Eric Dyson would have defended Eric Holder as "the Moses of our time," if he weren't black himself?  (Funny, though, I never knew that Moses was black or that Holder was Jewish.)

While Peterson and Dyson were heavily criticized for their statements, no one had the nerve to criticize them for being racially motivated.  It's about time they were... don't you think?

Meanwhile, as last week's HFR noted, Eric Holder is toast.  This week he's melba toast.

TALE OF TWO ECONOMIC STYLES

Will 2013 be a better year? A number of economic commentators have been saying the worst is behind us. I think they are wrong, and here is why. In most major countries, including the United States, government is growing faster than the private sector.

As Mitchell's Golden Rule explains, when the private sector grows faster than government, prosperity increases, and when government grows faster than the private sector, misery increases.

As can be seen in the accompanying table, in most of the major nations, debt-to-GDP ratios are increasing, because the deficits as a percentage of gross domestic product (GDP) are greater than economic growth -- meaning these countries are getting deeper in the hole each year.  The US is one of them.

IT’S NOT THE DECLARATION OF DEPENDENCE

As we celebrate our nation's birthday this week, it is important to remember and teach our children the Founding Fathers were declaring our independence, not creating a culture of dependence. This is an especially important lesson, given the Supreme Court's ruling last week on Obamacare.

The Readers Digest version of the Supreme Court's decisions last week is this - The Government can require proof of insurance, but not proof of citizenship.

Here is the big picture situation in America today. Success used to be measured by how many people we could get off the government dole, but now, under President Obama, we measure success by how many people we can get on government programs.

We have it 100 percent backwards in America today. We should celebrate people getting off food stamps, off Medicaid, and off government health care.

We are at an inflection point in our nation's history. We have to decide whether we want to revive our economy by growing the private sector or expanding the public sector, to continue our culture of self-reliance versus a culture of dependency, to provide our children with opportunity or a sense of entitlement, and to pursue the American model or give in to the European model.

I have vowed not to implement Obamacare in Louisiana, especially creating the exchange and expanding Medicaid, because this November we're going to elect a new President and a new Congress who will repeal and replace the terrible law.

IS OBAMA ON PUTIN’S PAYROLL?

Just like the Saudis, the KGB has journalists all over the world on their payroll.  There's hardly a major newspaper or newsmagazine in Europe, for example, that doesn't have one or more of their prominent writers and editors being paid on the sly by the Saudis to say nice things about them and nothing critical.

It's not quite as extensive throughout the US media, but you'd be surprised what US pundits and media stars are on the Saudi take.  The Saudis particularly like to see if they can rope in one of them on the right.  Well-known conservative columnist and television commentator Robert Novak (1931-2009) was one of their prize catches.  For years they paid him a fortune to be pro-Palestinian/anti-Israel.

The KGB - since 1991, it was supposedly renamed and divided up into the FSB (Federal Security Service internal to Russia) and the SVR (Foreign Intelligence Service), but it's still the same outfit of Russian thugs - does the same, and a lot more.

FEAR OF FLU

One more calamity to freak out about now, it seems, is an impending “pandemic” of the Asian Bird Flu virus known as H5N1.  Every day we read about five billion more chickens or turkeys or geese in China or Romania or some other country being infected and killed.

A batch of folks in Vietnam have died of it, and the scare stories mount about how any day now, the virus will mutate, enabling not just bird-to-human infection but human-to-human.  Then, the stories claim, the pandemic is on.

There are some protective measures you might consider to shield yourself from a H5N1 pandemic should it occur.  I don’t want to be dispensing medical advice, so I’ll just say that this is what I am doing myself.

HOW TO DUAL BOOT XP AND LINUX ON THE SAME HARD DISK

This step by step guide is meant to show you how to install Linux (Fedora Core 2) on one hard drive, on top of an existing Windows machine, and using native boot loaders for each OS (i.e. the ntloader for Windows), grub for booting Linux.

This 21 step guide details each step necessary to perform the a dual boot of Windows XP and Linux, and uses the QtParted tool in the SystemRescueCD to resize NTFS (QtParted is a free tool for resizing NTFS partitions).

The steps in this guide do not originate with me. I’ve pieced them together from XP and other programmers’ forums. But this is the first time it’s all been put together in one place.
